Puddle Pirates

Puddle Pirate is nautical slang for a Coastie. Although is it is most often used as a derogatory term it is synonymous with the Coast Guard.

Coast Guard Veteran Petty Officer Second Class Ryan Wittendorfer considers himself a "puddle". Ryan served as a Boatswains Mate from 2006-2014 . He served on the Mississippi River on board CGC Scioto supporting local aids to navigation and at Station Marble Head while conducting Search and Rescue, and Law Enforcement operations.

Presently, Ryan is a National Account Manager for James Hardie. He still enjoys running his boat with his wife and three kids.  Ryan will remember his days in the Coast Guard with this ocean/beachy scented candle.
